With the love of chunky yarn and many visits to her local fiber mill, Charlotte developed the idea of custom yarn for very thick blankets and rugs. She realized there was a market for this idea and with her father's help for a name, Fat Wool Co. was created.

From the quality of the wool and processed yarn to the overall design and handwork of the product, Charlotte creates quality craftsmanship through all her products. She encourages people to appreciate the experience of keeping warm with a Fat Wool blanket or standing on the softness of a Fat Wool rug.

Since she started knitting, her hands have rarely been still and she loves to hear from clients with special requests or commission work.
